Post-Training

Below you will find information on what to expect as your training draws to a close, and once it is finished.  See the drop down tabs in this category for options on post-training ideas to develop your alumni community and to generate feedback and testimonials on the program.

End of Training Documents

One week before your training is over, the department coordinator, Tiana Franenberg, will reach out to your trainer and your ITA with instructions for wrapping up your training. Your ITA will be asked to go over all attendance and homework records to summarize and report any missing hours or homework to YogaWorks.

The ITA will be asked to collect all of the paperwork from the ITA binder to send to YogaWorks. You will be given these documents to mail. You can submit the shipping costs as part of your expenses. Please send all of your final expenses to Michelle Gluss (michelle.gluss@yogaworks.com) within the three weeks of your training ending.

Diplomas

Students will receive their graded exams and diplomas 8-12 weeks after their training ends. Tiana will send you a message when she mails out the diploma packets so you can inform any interested students. If a student finds that there is a spelling mistake or other error with their diploma, please ask them to connect with Tiana (tianaf@yogaworks.com) to place an order for a new diploma.

Making Up Missed Training Hours

If you have a student who needs to make up hours from their training, they have two options available to them. They may schedule a private with their trainer, given their trainer is still in the area, or they have easy access to the trainer’s location. Alternatively, they may make up their time in YogaWorks training, within one year of their training ending. Please ask the student to refer to their Welcome Letter for more detailed information. If the student has chosen a make-up their time in another training, ask them to connect with Tiana, who will be able to coordinate the make-up session.

Making Up a Failed Exam

If a student is informed that they did not pass one of their exams they will be given the opportunity to make up their exam within three months of being notified that they did not pass the exam. If a student fails both of their exams they will not be allowed to take a make-up and will be given the opportunity to retake the program at a 50% discount.

There is a charge of $200 for exam retakes. Refer the student to the Welcome Letter for detailed information on this topic. When the student is ready to retake their exam, please ask them to connect with Tiana to make the arrangements.

Registering with Yoga Alliance

As successful graduates of a YogaWorks program, your students are eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance® at the following levels:

Graduate of YogaWorks 200-Hour Teacher Training –Registered Yoga Teacher 200 (RYT© 200)
Graduate of YogaWorks 300-Hour Professional Program –Registered Yoga Teacher 500 (RYT© 500)

To register with the Yoga Alliance, students will need to:

• Download the most recent application available at www.yogaalliance.org. This information is found under the “How to Apply” section, under “Graduates of a Registered School.”
• Complete the application and along with it, submit a copy of your diploma, letter of completion and payment.
